Brief
This prime new build was created by a contractor that required a subtle, restrained architectural design, and they put a great emphasis on meticulous detailing and workmanship. They also required the exterior space to be a reflection of the interior, understated and refined.
Design
Bespoke bronze footplates take you across the threshold onto a Brazilian walnut terrace, simply fixed with no visible screws. Bronze detail to the planters enhances the rectilinear flow of the terrace accenting the absolute quality of this build.
Balustrade, again in one of the earth’s precious metals; bronze, is also a perfect match for the natural timber juxtaposing the form and texture of the bespoke planters.
Furthermore, the planting is in the form of an evergreen Taxus Baccata to screen and forms of Buxus Sempervirens with individual planters of colour from Cyclamen and evergreen Azaleas.
Lighting is subtle to enhance the evening whilst enjoying the magnificent views of London.
