Composite Decking Warrantied for 25-years. Initially the clients wanted more spaces in their garden to entertain. Their children are now young adults and want to have their friends over. Ultimately it would be nice to have a completely separate space so everyone can enjoy the garden at the same time.Design
The entire garden is set on a moderate slope so Karl thought the best approach would to carve into the lawn and build a decking structure. This can then be surrounded with planting to soften the space and bring in some colour. This carving or digging off had to be done by hand and resulted in 16 tonnes of excavation. The clients didn’t want any maintenance on the decking so Karl suggested Trex composite decking. It was an easy decision to use the Trex Transcend Island Mist; the clients love the colour, it’s sustainability and there’s no maintenance. Karl used the same colour to make a border around the decking to give a contemporary finish. They also used the Foggy Wharf matching fascia, the mixed grey tones of this will make all the plants pop.Composite Decking Warrantied for 25-years
